The MAGA war on the PBS is about control and in silencing opposition
It’s an age old tactic that’s been practised by every fascist state in history
Literally none of the government cuts are about money. The way they’ve been doing it basically guarantees the government loses even more money.

This is a favorite tactic of the GOP. They know that people are going to send money to PBS; the hope is that those folks will donate money that would have gone to other causes, like political campaigns.
Every dime they take from the Dems is a victory.
