All I’ve heard so far is that he “had a gun”. Even if this is true, holding a gun is not a crime. This was a fucking execution.

It was in his waistband, at the small of his back. You can see an agent lift his shirt and take the gun, then you hear the first shot. Agent with his gun runs away, other agents magdump on the man.

Exercising Constitutional rights is now a capital offense in The People’s Republic of MAGAstan.

      Free speech? Death.
      Free assembly? Death.
      Keep or bear arms. Death.

Homeland Security shares account of fatal shooting The Department of Homeland Security said federal agents were conducting a “targeted operation” in Minneapolis at 9:05 a.m. Saturday looking for “an illegal alien wanted for violent assault.”

“An individual approached U.S. Border Patrol officers with a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun,” the agency said in a statement. “The officers attempted to disarm the suspect but the armed suspect violently resisted.”

“Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, an agent fired defensive shots,” the department’s statement continued. “Medics on scene immediately delivered medical aid to the subject but was pronounced dead at the scene.”

DHS said the man had two magazines and “no ID” and that more information would be coming.

At this point maybe they should be getting reason(s) to fear for their lives because apparently you can be on the receiving end of nothing but peaceful protests for weeks, hell by now it’s many months in places, and still fear for your life.

Also, this is the USA, we are allowed to have guns as civilians (for better or worse). Just being in possession of a firearm should be be a fucking pretense for murder.

ICE is just begging to get shot and they’re going to deserve it when it finally does happen.

People said “if you show up armed they wont start shit like this”… Well here you go, that doesnt work at all. If there is no peaceful way to stop them from killing you, then literally the only option left is to shoot them on sight.

Wtf? I was just correcting the person before me that using the word “holding” can be misunderstood. Using the word possession is clearer that he may have had one but not in his hand.

Sure but that’s not what happened. We see that an ICE agent disarmed him, removed the pistol from his back waistband area while he’s on the ground getting beaten and pistol whipped on the head, AND THEN they shot him.

They’ve killed in captivity, had one ruled a homicide by an examiner, publicly executed 2 in front of cameras and so far they’ve managed to at least have their budget increased. At some point something will break.

It would be a coup at that point. The national guard is commanded by the Governor of the state, but the President can also legally override the governor and take control.

Can they be instructed to resist ICE presence

        Yes.

Keep in mind, the only alternative to the Minnesota state government resisting the feds directly is armed, citizen militias, which will be way the fuck more bloody. ICE can possibly be intimidated by the national guard, but especially against citizens, they’re not going to just tip their hat and leave.

I will never understand how we can push the second amendment so hard, and then use having a gun as an excuse to kill civilians. Furthermore, I will never understand how the 2A crowd will then also use that excuse as a justifiable reason for someone to be killed by law enforcement.

“No, bro, the way I carry MY gun is totally different. He wasn’t doing it right.”

Always the passive voice. Even international media is apparently scared to say what we all see clearly from multiple angles on video: ICE grabbed him, wrestled him to the ground, beat him, held him still and unloaded about 10 rounds into him at point blank range.

I bet those Democrats who voted for full funding for this public execution are proud and we should call them up and congratulate them on directly causing another murder of an American citizen.

Representatives Henry Cuellar (Texas), Tom Suozzi (New York), Vicente Gonzalez (Texas), Laura Gillen (New York), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (Washington), Jared Golden (Maine), and Don Davis (North Carolina).

While we’re at it, we should thank Pelosi (California), Clyburn (Worst Carolina), and other DNC leadership bigwigs for personally going to Texas to make sure that the anti-choice, anti-trans, and ridiculously corrupt Cuellar beat his progressive challenger Jessica Sisneros who was winning before they put their thumb on the scale.

Pretty sure “a gunshot is heard and then several more are fired. The man then falls still.” is inaccurate. Video shows the man fell still at the first shot. Which means all the others were overkill.

If possible, do it from where they can’t see you.

The system will never be on our side. Just like this guy was murdered for exercising constitutional rights, any open resistance will be met with overwhelming force.

It’s time to learn from those who have experience fighting a much more powerful enemy.
