it seems alot of gay couple in my area, 1 of them is always older40+ and the other one is a 20+ usually buff/hot something year old. probably looking for a daddy figure, or look at a financially well off partner? other than that its mostly people the same age usually for younger gay couples. gay adult entertainment might have something to do with that perception.

The guy in the comic is taller than both of the women, which is generally all thatās required to be successful in the dating pool. Sure some women are insistent about the 6ā limit, but so what? Given how many people refuse to date outside their race/religion, youāre already not going to attract everyone, so if youāre under 6ā add the height-obsessed to that list and move on.
The morale is to not use dating apps. They are all owned by the same company, whose goal is to be profitable by making you addicted.

- Fet ā shows you ads on every move. Even to check your gallery you need to watch full screen ad. Patched this out by luckypatcher - still shows ads now and then. Swaps are limited in free account. No commenting either. No one answered to my messages, nor messaged me. Uses imperial system instead of metric, you can switch it if you verify your account apparently, but I couldnāt: my country not supported.
- Bumpy ā couldnāt bare onboarding video that bugged out and started showing each time I launch app. Like, straight up unskippable video about āhow great this app isā for about 3 minutes. Also, profile strictly moderated, couldnāt even put my discord/telegram, got blocked. Also-also, uses imperial system instead of metric (I live in Europe) and you canāt switch it at all.
- Velvet ā paid account required for most things, āDelete accountā button throws 404 error (you canāt delete account), āSupport&helpā doesnāt react (probably dummy button and not mapped anywhere), there no profiles unless you max out range (capped for free account at 50km I believe) and then it will show one profile - app just a fraud.
So yeah, nah, Iām done for now. Itās not even dating itself that sucks, but even experience of getting there.
Thereās also feeld, easily the most success Iāve ever had on an app, but it is buggy as fuck.

Far from a majority, but maybe 5-10%? And thatās just the ones that mention it in the bio, some may still have prejudice against shorter guys but not mention it in the bio.
Gave up on the apps myself, Iām a lot better in person and you canāt tell Iām 2 centimeters under the legal lower limit for manhood (aka just under 180 cm).
Yeah dating apps are silly. It replaced bars as places with bad reputation to try to meet partners. Iām short but still have gotten interests from girls in real life despite my height, not so much in dating apps.

So, anecdotal, but I have found this runs both ways. Tall guys go for short girls. Short guys go for girls shorter than them usually. Guys my height (the average height here) are less likely to care.
Average height of men in the US is 5ā9" or a smidge shorter, for women 5ā4" or a smidge shorter. In this YouGov survey the title was āideal height for a woman is 5ā6ā, for a man 5ā11" which I think is kind of funny, like everyone just wants to be two inches taller.
Unless youāre significantly taller than the average for your gender and it contributes to your gender dysphoria. If I didnāt lose 3 inches from peak height, Iād feel so much worse about myself.
Woah is that safe? Losing height? Iām 5ā9" and a woman and honestly always wanted to be 5ā10". Dad was 6ā4" so I had hope but no. Donāt actually care if it knocks out guys, nobody needs to be universally attractive, just a good enough person overall to find what they are looking for.

I lost about an inch before starting HRT (donāt fully understand how that happened), and the rest from it. Itās not uncommon to lose an inch or two, not because bones shrink, but because ligaments change length. Same goes for my feet; I lost a size and a half. I definitely feel shorter, which is nice, but I still wish I lost a few more.
