According to U.S. President Donald Trump, Russia “has been fine on Ukraine” and “hasn’t been doing much” to the country it has been attempting to violently conquer for over a decade.
“Russia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraine. They haven’t been doing much,” Trump told reporters on Oct. 19.
The president’s remarks came the same day that a Russian daytime drone strike in a public park killed six people, including two children. The night before, Russia attacked Kyiv with over a dozen ballistic missiles and targeted nearly 30 critical energy facilities across the country.

In an interview with U.S. broadcaster ABC that aired over the weekend, Trump was asked about Putin’s presence in Ukraine.
He replied: “He’s not going to go into Ukraine, alright? You can mark it down. You can put it down. You can take it anywhere you want.” To which the puzzled interviewer asked: “Well, he’s already there, isn’t he?” referring to Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014 and support for separatists in Ukraine’s east.
“OK, well, he’s there in a certain way. But I’m not there. You have Obama there. And frankly, that whole part of the world is a mess under Obama with all the strength that you’re talking about and all of the power of NATO and all of this. In the meantime, he’s going away. He take, takes Crimea.”

From “end the war on day 1” to “it’s fine”.
By the end of the year he’ll declare the war “over”, regardless of what’s actually going on.
Then sign an executive order trying to ban all US media from ever mentioning it again.
He can try, but it would have no legal effect. Executive orders only work on federal agencies.
He can order the federal agents to deport anyone who does.
Under article 2 of the constitution he cannot. (Separation of powers)
Ohhhh my god, are we seriously doing this? You have seen how ICE is arresting and deporting US citizens, right? Laws mean nothing when they aren’t enforced.

He just wants Russian oil to drive down gas prices for the midterms. He never cared about Ukraine it was just words to get votes.
