French is such a beautiful language
She actually used English (for ‘fuck’ anyway), which surprised me.
It’s been commonly used as a pejorative in French for a decade or so.

I remember sitting in a cafe in Copenhagen and overhearing a conversation at the table next to mine. I had no idea what they were talking about but “fucking” was the only word I recognized. It was about every third word they said.

I wasn’t aware of her comment. Googling for it showed me an article in English saying she dropped the F bomb. I thought it was in an interview in English but no, she used it in French, which makes it a bit less impressive.
